Frequently Asked Questions about the TokenFlex Meal Card
These are cards that corporate customers, i.e. employers, top up monthly balances in certain amounts for their employees' food needs. Balances on meal cards can only be spent at contracted merchants in the sectors where they are valid.
TokenFlex is Turkey's first and only digital meal card offered by Token Financial Technologies, a subsidiary of Koç Group. TokenFlex, which currently only has a meal card feature, will support features such as oil card, gift card, transportation card and online payment in the coming periods.
TokenFlex can be used by merchants who want to receive payments with digital meal cards and corporate customers (employers) who want to provide meal support to their employees with meal cards.
As TokenFlex is a meal card, it can be used in businesses that provide food and beverage services and for the purchase of food products with a VAT rate of eight percent (8%) and one percent (1%). In this context, it can be used in businesses such as restaurants, cafes, buffets, eateries, markets, delicatessens that sell food products.
